Hi everyone. This is our first attempt at a blog so be patient with us! A few people told us this was not difficult to do, but we are finding it a challenge. As most of you know we are adopting a 14 year old girl named Vika, from the Ukraine. We started this process in June and on Thanksgiving day we received our appointment date to travel to Ukraine. We would like to thank everyone who has been supporting us with kind words and prayer. We would appreciate if everyone would remember the two couples who are in Ukraine now and another couple who will be going the beginning of next month.
We are going to post pictures of Vika, but we have to figure out how to do that. If anyone knows how we are open to suggestions.
Hi I am Adam Nikkel, Curtis brother!! It is great to see that you have a blog, we love to follow the process of all the families that are adopting. My wife Luba says Vika is trying really hard to learn English but is finding it difficult. But she is a real trooper and just keeps at it no matter what! We look forward to seeing you guys here in Ukraine in the near future!

Right now I am in Moldova for a few days, so I am on my own little adventure at the moment. Hopefully I'll have no troubles getting into Ukraine! Anyways, as you may know, I also have my own blog.
